Anyone live in/near Chicago?

My hubby and I are thinking of buying tickets to the U2 concert which will be there in May and driving up. It would be ever so much easier if we "knew" someone there...also could use advice for *inexpensive* accomodations.

I wonder if I can talk him in to going up early on Friday and trying for Oprah tickets?

Ray - my parents live in Chicago, but I'm about 4 hours southeast of there. And with my dad's health problems, I don't think they'll be in their house come May. Sorry. Wish I could help! *hugs*

Yeah, plenty of choices, as long as you don't want to stay right downtown. Where's the concert? I can help you narrow down where to stay, if you tell me where the show is (maybe Rosemont?).
