rayvyn2kThe weekend was spent doing nothing except vegging out. I know I'm going to regret wasting these days. We did go for some awesome Chinese food for dinner on Sunday, so that was okay.
I am going to try to make a costume for myself because hubby and I intend to attend the RenFest in May together: he in his Aragorn costume and me in my "sort of elf-like" costume. Heh. I'm glad he doesn't mind being seen with a fat elf.
Wrote an incredibly hot scene for the Sycophant Hex's Spring Faire Festival yay!
Am completely pissed off at my local ABC affiliate for pre-empting Extreme Makover: Home Edition, How'd They Do That? with some stupid, locally produced crap--and they put it on BOTH of their channels! I'm sure they KNEW if they showed EM: HE, HTDT? on one, they would have no one watching the other. Their website was crashed, so I'm sure there were thousands of angry people. I intend to email them as soon as I can get on their site. Fuckers.
I had to be on the telephone for almost four hours today...they updated the email program we use over the weekend and it had to be reconfigured so I could access it. God, that was awful.
Still miss my kids and my sister and everyone in Florida. Wish I could go down for Dad's party. I've come up with a cool gift, if I can get it finished in time...if not, he'll get it on his actual birthday.
Wish I could win enough money playing the lottery to pay my bills off and put a down payment on a house because I hate this apartment so much.
The Amazing Race is on tomorrow night! Wheeee! Go Rob and Amber!
Got an awesome poster today that I won from ebay...it has most of the signatures from the cast of PoA, with a Certificate of Authenticity which has the dates and places the signatures were obtained...if it's not authentic, it sure does look it. I can't wait to frame it and hang it up.
The kittens are almost a year old. Hard to believe! They are still so cute. As soon as I can I'm going to take some pics to show everyone.
I want to go somewhere with my hubby for a weekend or a mini-vacation.
"The Incredibles" comes out tomorrow on DVD and I'm going to rent it damn it.
Today the temperature was in the high 50s and tomorrow there's a forecast for snow flurries. I wish Spring would get here already. I never thought I'd say this, but I miss the heat.
I'm re-reading "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

We always go in court garb and make fun of the people in dresses with zippers- it's hysterical- but then again I guess I'm a bit of a evil bitch. Or maybe I'm just getting more and more Slytherin as the minuets go by. That's probably the case.

We are looking forward to dressing up. Hubby won an ebay auction for an elvin broach and the evenstar necklace. I told him I wanted one and he said "but you (Arwen) gave it to ME." I had to laugh. I'm going to try making a "Galadrial-like" dress...I'll let everyone know how it turned out.
