Five Years Ago Today

rayvyn2kI married the man of my dreams, my "handsome prince", the love of my life. And, things have only gotten better since that day. The card I gave him says, in part:
"With you, I've found a once-in-a-lifetime friendship
and a once-in-a-lifetime love--
You're the friend I want,
the husband I need,
the reason I have so much
to celebrate today."
And it is so true. We have become the very best of friends, and the people who meet us for the first time (like his friend's lady) can see how close we are and comment on the way we seem to be on the same wavelength--finish each other's sentences--and just adore each other.
I love him more today than I ever have. But not as much as tomorrow...(to quote the song by Goldfinger)
and a once-in-a-lifetime love--
