Nothing much new here

We are still in the process of moving our stuff. Hubby's dad will be over on Friday to help him move the heavy stuff.

We have gotten the kitchen, bathroom and most of the bedroom stuff moved. Also the computer (natch) the tvs, vcrs and the stereo. We bought a new computer desk which is minimalist--to say the least.

It's getting really cold (to me) again.

I need to go file for unemployment, but I really don't want to--I don't know why. I guess I'll have to go do it tomorrow.

The management here offered to pay our transfer fees, but then said $100...which won't quite cover it, but it's nice of them to offer.

I want to put up my little Christmas tree this year...I wonder how long it will take the kittens to knock it down? I think I'll just put non-breakable ornaments on it and save myself some headaches.

I miss my work friends. I thought I'd made "real" friends there, but I've only heard from a couple of them since I was fired. That really sucks, since I'm kind of low in the "real life" friend department here in Tennessee. I have loads of online friends, but very few otherwise--so I really miss the ones who are "gone".

I hope I hear from State Farm soon--one way or the other. I don't like being in limbo like this.

Guess that's about all for now. (I warned you that nothing really was happening.)

They said 3-4 weeks before I hear something. They are still interviewing folks. I was one of the lucky ones to get an early interview.
So...I'm just waiting...trying not to get too depressed.
