rayvyn2kThis week, my hubby decided to watch with me--which is something of a minor miracle because he is not real fond of this program.
Previously: Gorgeous Australia, Hippies plot, Eric and Jeremy cancel cabs and recieve instant Karma. Yielding, skydiving and Monica pouting. Digeridoos--Ray and Yolanda, you're team #1 and BJ and Tyler, you're last AGAIN.
Wow, Thailand is another beautiful city. Awww, Ray and Yolanda took pity on BJ and Tyler and donated some pants. I didn't realize he was without pants, geeze. And Eric and Jeremy donate some flip-flops. That's nice. MoJo give nothing, which is fine. I don't think that is mean or nasty.
I can't believe that BJ and Tyler actually expected Joseph and Monica to donate something to their cause. Hello--reality check! You were assholes to them! Sheesh, entitlement much?
Heh, MoJo tried lying to Eric and Jeremy, but they didn't get away with it. YIKES, the flight is full. BJ and Tyler didn't make it onto the same plane with everyone else. I think they should have booked their flight before they went begging for money. But, they were lucky and got on a different flight which might get them to Thailand earlier.
Bancock is another beautiful city. This is part of the reason why I love this program so much-you really get to see so many different and stunning places in the world.
Wow, by their behavior at the cab stand in the airport, it looks like Monica and Joseph might be showing some "ugly American" tendencies. I hope not since we haven't had any of that this race and it's been nice.
Eric and Jeremy and Ray and Yolanda got on the bus. Wow, Monica and Joseph listened to that guy and went to a hotel? That's just crazy.
One thing I really like about BJ and Tyler is that they always take time to appreciate the beauty of wherever they are.
*snorfle* Monica and Joseph are on the last bus. (Hubby points out that, logically, it is the first bus...because the other busses have left...it's the "first" bus leaving next.)
Hee, monkeys always bring the funny. ACK! Monkey attack! Give those monkeys some Pringles!
MoJo is not there!
GROSS. That Fast Forward is freaking me out. Eating a huge bowl of fried crickets. I forsee some barfing in the future.
(Awww, hubby said he'd do it. I reminded him that since it is a Fast Forward, I'd have to eat a bowl too and there's NO WAY that's ever gonna happen--so theoretically, if we were doing the race, we'd be doing the monkey dinner table.)
Ray and Yolanda and BJ and Tyler try for the Fast Forward. Hee, Ray brings the funny again with "They have a two cricket head start." All the locals are watching the funny Americans. Hee. I don't blame Ray and Yolanda, I would have ALREADY left.
Ah--hahahahahahaha! Monica and Joseph are finding out the truth. They are last. I hope it stays that way.
Hubby and I were really howling with laughter as we watched the teams trying to make the tables look good while the monkeys sabataged them. "You bastards!" hee.
Back to BJ and Tyler--and we get the lovely sounds of them horking up the bugs. EW. That is one huge bowl of cricket-y yukkiness.
MONKEY ATTACK!!! Buwahahahahaha!!
Wow BJ and Tyler are having a rough time...I admire them for sticking it out...I certainly couldn't have done it.
Eric and Jeremy are finished first and get on the ferry. They find the garden and the clue. The detour is carrying clay pots, or gold-leafing a buddha. They are going to do the buddha.
(Hubby says you can't just gold leaf a buddha any old way. It has to be done just right--make sure you don't add another chin...silly hubby.)
Hahahaha, Monica and Joseph missed the garden completely.
Back to BJ and Tyler and at this point, I can't even watch them. Gross. Oh, thank goodness it's finished.
Monica and Joseph are doing the pots? Oh, I can't wait to see how long it takes her to melt down during this task. (Hubby and me chuckle as the pots come crashing down.)
Welcome, BJ and Tyler, you're team #1! Their gnome is the regular kind. But they're just happy to have gone from worst to first. I think this is the second time they've done that. (And dang, Phil looks hot--as usual--but I think that red/orange shirt is not really doing anything for him.)
And--once again, Monica says that this task is "the hardest thing she's ever done in her life." She said that about the fish task, too.
Hee, Eric told Ray and Yolanda that he "gold leafs in his spare time." They have to smooth out the gold leaf and when they do they get a thumbs up from the guy. (Hubby--Thumbs up--the universal sign of approval.)
And, as I predicted, Monica is melting down. I hope they come in last. Joseph seems to spend most of his time reassuring her. They finally finish.
Ray and Yolanda have to smooth out the gold leafing too. They finish.
Everyone gets cabs...it looks like MoJo might be last.

Wow, the Marble Temple is beautiful. (I'm having trouble coming up with different adjectives to describe the beauty of these places. Sorry if I sound repetitious.)
Welcome Eric and Jeremy, you're team #2. They have a regular gnome, too. And *shock* they didn't say anything about the gorgeous woman greeter.
So, it's down to Ray and Yolanda and Monica and Joseph. Dang, Yolanda really racked herself on the corner of the temple. They made her cover her arms.
Aaaannnndddd, YAYYYY!! Ray and Yolanda, you're team #3!! Woohoo! And they have the golden gnome and win a fabulous cruise around Australia on a private yacht. Awww, she calls him her "pillar of strength."
Joseph and Monica, you're the last team to arrive. I'm (not) sorry to tell you...you've both been eliminated from the race.
Naturally, she cries, but she says they are tears of joy and that they've had "amazing" experiences. Aww, she called him her rock and he said she helps keep him composed and that they'll be getting married one day.
Annd...everyone wants and expects to win the million...yadda yadda yadda.
Next week: Two hour season finale...and I get to watch with my sister in Florida!! Woohoo!!
