More Randomness

rayvyn2kGot into a real groove at work today...finished everything I was given plus more. That rocked.
The mechanic called and said he's not sure if it's the transmission, because when they hooked it up to their computer, my car vomited all kinds of engine issues. The place we took it is a transmission place, but they recommended a place that can sort out what's what with the engine and let me know. And they didn't charge me for anything--which was totally awesome. I see some homemade cookies in their future. Hopefully the issues are not terminal. Sacrifice those Mini Coopers to your automobile gods please.
Is there any cooler chef around than Alton Brown? I don't think so.
Both Hubby and I got a nasty intestinal thing today...yeah, that thing. EW. The only thing I can trace it to is the chicken in a pouch stuff I used for supper last night.
What ever happened to adjustable bra straps? The so-called "adjustable" straps these days only adjust about two to three inches. And it seems the larger the bra, the shorter the straps. WTF is up with that? Why can't a big girl get a comfy bra?
I want to go to Carrabba's again.

guipago lived closer so she could teach me how to clip my cats' claws without getting cut to ribbons.
My son, his fiance and my grandson will be here by the end of next month--W00T!

Cats who don't regularly get their claws clipped should probably be towel handled while doing it until they get used to it.
Until you can get a vet to show you (most will do it if you ask nicely and if you've got a friendly vet they might even do it for free :)), practicing by constantly handling their paws everyday helps. For them and you. I just grab a kitty paw, manipulate it through all it's motions then toe by toe and they get used to it eventually. :)

"Comfortable bra" is an oxymoron, just like "military intelligence" and "jumbo shrimp."
